Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Coursetake (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

Description of Service

Coursetake provides AI-powered interview preparation tools including:

  • Personalized prep plans for specific companies and roles
  • Practice interviews with AI-powered feedback
  • Company-specific interview guides and tips
  • STAR story builders for behavioral questions

Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Coursetake, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions and Payments

Coursetake offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free tier: Limited access to prep plans and practice interviews
  • Paid subscriptions: Billed monthly via Stripe
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • Refunds: No refunds for partial months. Contact us within 7 days of purchase if you're unsatisfied

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Changes will not affect your current billing period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Redistribute, resell, or republish content generated by the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

AI-Generated Content

Important information about AI-generated content:

  • Prep plans, interview questions, and feedback are generated by artificial intelligence
  • Content is for interview preparation purposes only and is not guaranteed to match actual interview questions
  • We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee all company information is current or complete
  • Company names, logos, and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners
  • Coursetake is not affiliated with or endorsed by any employer mentioned on the platform

Intellectual Property

  • Coursetake owns the platform, design, branding, and underlying AI systems
  • You retain ownership of your personal content (practice answers, STAR stories)
  • You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service
  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Content will be accurate, reliable, or complete
  • Use of the Service will result in job offers or interviews

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COURSETAKE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or opportunities
  • Job or interview outcomes
  • Decisions made based on our content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coursetake and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@coursetake.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
